Current Projects

I know everyone is anxiously waiting for news about my upcoming novels so I decided to make a go to page.

Immortal Trilogy

Immortal - Completed

The wound inflicted only a few minutes before was nearly healed. A small cut was the only sign that anything had occurred. I watched in disbelief as it finished closing and eventually disappeared.
“What are you?”
* * *
Gods, demons, and vampires… Eighteen-year-old Alina Taylor doesn’t believe in any of them. Then, she meets Samuel Grant and Duncan Michaels and discovers a world that could destroy everything she loves.

Forever - Completed

“What are we playing for?”
An evil grin spread over his face. “I am so glad you asked. We’re playing for the chance to choose.”
“Choose what?”
“Where my next shot goes.”

* * *

Memories fade, betrayals abound, and death looms. Alina believed becoming an Immortal would protect those she loved, but how can she protect them when they’re already caught in the trap?

Eternity - Completed

“We’re just beginning the lesson for today. It’s on crime and punishment.” Ethan returned his focus to Alina and a psychotic grin spread across his perfectly chiseled face.
A tear slid down her cheek as her body took another step.

* * *

Tired of hiding. Tired of her gilded cage. Alina runs. But running only brings her closer to the final confrontation and the beginning of her eternity whether for good or ill.

Here After Trilogy

 Here After - First set of edits complete and it's back with my editor at Red Adept Editing.

Rosalyn
Throwing off the comforter, I ran over to my computer to quiet the blaring music escaping from the speakers. I was certain I’d turned the thing off last night. I was about to slam the top shut when the monitor caught my attention. On the screen, in bold letters that took up half the page, were two words. “GET OUT.”
Shaking my head, I tried rid myself of the uncomfortable feeling at seeing the disturbing message. Turning around to head back to bed, I stopped short.
“Who are you? What are you doing in my house?”

William
For a moment, I didn’t realize to whom she spoke. Then, understanding dawned on me. She could see me. The shock of my realization froze me in place. I didn’t know whether to be happy or… my sluggish brain caught up to what she’d said and anger took the place of my elation.
Your house? This isn’t your house.”

Here & Now - Second book in the Here After Chronicles. I'm beginning the outline and will begin in earnest once the final proofread for Eternity is completed and the first edit for Here After is done. I'm shooting for a release date some time in the late summer of 2017.

  7. In a world of ebooks featuring second class wanna be authors it is rare for me to become ensared by a new plot line. I enjoyed Immortals so very much. The characters were endearing and well developed. I wish I knew more about Alina and Samuel's two week dating but still believe in their love. I am hesitant to read Forever as I won't have the closure of the final book. I am very impressed by you, Lauren, and am anxiously awaiting your next book. You have made a lifelong fan!

  11. I so can not wait for Eternity to come out!! I finished reading Forever last night!! I was trying to read slower, because I didn't want it to end yet knowing that Eternity was not out as of yet! Thank you for your stories, I enjoyed both books more than you will know. I am torn on something, I really want Alina to stay with who she is with! (don't want to mention names, spoiler alert). But i have a feeling that something is going to happen and change that. I hope that I am wrong though!! Please say I am wrong :-)
    I hope you will continue to keep writing once this Trilogy is complete. I know you have a lot on your plate taking care of your family and I commend the Hard work that you put into these books.
    Again Thank You and I will be anxiously waiting for Eternity!!

  18. Hello,
    I love the Immortal Trilogy books. I can't wait wait for the
    last one. Wish you could keep your website updated though so it would't be so frustrating not knowing any info on when to possibly expect it. I hope your still writting- they are great :-)

  19. I don't understand, why you haven't updated yoir readers??? Some type of acknowledgement, would be better than having people guessing. When you write a trilogy yo cannot just take forever to publish the last book...please give the reader's an estimated release date. Thanks

  20. I keep checking back but there's never an update....are you still alive? I was just wondering about the last book of your immortal seriously...please let us know something. Thank you

    2. Exactly!! I've been waiting years for that last book and the problem is I don't even remember the story, characters or how book 2 ended. That's just sad. I remember it ending with a bang and that it was very good. Please give us an UPDATE!

    3. Sadly I don't think we will ever read the last book. I literally check this site quite often and the only thing new is the comments we leave LOL

  21. Wow this is the 4th author of a series that I can't seem to find any info on. I have a few series that I would like the read the last book or even the last two books but just as this author there have been no updates from these authors since 2011 in some cases and 2012 in others. How do you expect to keep readers if you don't give simple updates. I'm not asking for a long winded update just a simple "hey this is where this series stands" update would be nice. Or as others have suggested a "im am alive but have others works in process" response......something...

  22. I find it really disappointing how you have made all of your fans wait for almost three years for you to finish the final book in the immortal trilogy. It seems almost like you don't care about your readers at all. People are going to forget your first books ever existed.

  24. I am a really big fan of all of your books and I think if people are true fans they will wait. Honestly a ton of people have been waiting me among them and I am not complaining. There are plenty of good series out there that can occupy the wait time. I can give you some. Also, she might be taking longer because everyone is complaining....... at least if I was her that is what I would do. So what if authors make you wait........... I'm pretty sure that what they do isn't easy, I bet it is very time consuming, and you just have to believe that they are devoting as much time as they can. I remember her telling us before how much she has on her plate so we should give her a break. And for everyone that says they "forgot the characters and the plot" just reread the book......... That's what I do, I have read these books 4 times over and I'm still not tired of them. We just need to stop bugging her........ We are acting like the children who are in the cars on a way to a vacation and all they know how to say is " ARE WE THERE YET?"............. Let's all just sit back and relax...... we will get there when we get there :)

  25. Sadly i do not think we will ever know what happens to the characters in these books...i have waited and checked back every so often and still nothing.i would hope that she would want to finish this last book and then be done if has perhaps lost her passion for writing. I do pray nothing serious has affected lauren. To everyone that checks out this post.i do believe its time to forget about it and make up your own scenario to complete the series. Best of luck to lauren in her furture endeavors! From a once true fan
